The Health Analytics & Outcomes Research Academy (HAnORA) was created to enhance the research capacity of the College of Health & Human Services (CHHS) through a collaboration of investigators with diverse research interests within the college, university & community partners to discover research opportunities, share resources & seek funding of research.
- Research: Introduce & accelerate the use of data sciences across the CHHS research portfolio.
- Education: Provide superior data science training through Masters, Certificate & Doctoral Programs.
- Service: Establish UNC Charlotte as a premier data science university among health & human services organizations.
HAnORA currently has ongoing research projects led by collaborative work teams of faculty, students, clinical experts & community partners. Each research project is focused around the central DSI Research Data Hub which includes private & federal databases spanning healthcare administrative payer data, electronic medical records, surveys & population health datasets.
